In meiner Altersgruppe habe ich letztens auch ein "Die Grünen haben sich echt unwählbar gemacht!", gehört. Eine Begründung gab es nicht, nur Rumgedruckse gefolgt von Gezeter. Hab das Gefühl, dass eine hohe Emotionalität im politischen Diskurs mehr und mehr zum Problem wird.

I think their point is that it's not a flag or something, which would obviously be political, but just a scarf. So they mean "Oh wow we're not allowed to wear scarves anymore?". Which is still a bit silly, as the political intention seems pretty apparent in this specific case.

I'm absolutely a dog person, still I wouldn't allow dogs in my bedroom, let alone on the bed. While the first is just a bit bothersome, I think the second one to be pretty icky.

Can only speak for training in Germany, but I assume Sweden is somewhat similar: During training students spend several months in police stations helping with the real work, similar to an internship. They have contacts to fully trained colleagues and also access to some internal software, which is less relevant as most of the (for them) accessible info there is public anyways, but on really rare occasions something interesting might drop accidentally.

Seit ich einen Waschtrockner habe, brauche ich zwar den Wäscheständer nicht mehr, dafür sind aber auch alle meine Handtücher grundsätzlich knittrig. Die meiste Zeit stört es nicht, aber manchmal kommt mir doch der flüchtige Gedanke, dass man sie nach dem Bügeln viel besser zu falten und wegzusortieren wären.

Okay, aber jemand der die Bücher gelesen hat, würde jetzt vielleicht einwerfen, dass Metro 2033 ganze 20 Jahre nach der Katastrophe spielt. Wird eng, das in 9 Jahren hinzukriegen.

Alles gut, ersteres ist ja Lebendbrot und letzteres eines, das bereits geschlachtet wurde. Brote können, grade in freier Wildbahn, sehr alt werden. Traurig, dass die meisten vorzeitig für unsere Lebensmittelindustrie ihr Leben lassen müssen.

It can be ever so tiny, as in "I actually stood up to do this, which is cool I guess". Just take a little moment and be kind to yourself. So I just realized I never heard the word salmon out loud and only ever read it. Also I headpronounced it wrong all the time.
