I didn't have this issue with my 4 cat when i do that, i usually have them belly up on my lap, head facing me, and i trim it that way so their paw won't be in an awkward possition. They will try to get away, but i'll just grab them back and give em some head scritches to quiet them down. I sometime will grab their paw when giving them pat and ask "lets check your nail. can i trim this?" and then trim it. Usually they let me trim one or two before getting annoyed.

I did it like this on my sister's cat as well, works just fine.

I mean, if it's methane but using another process to create it, it's still methane, a very potent greenhouse gas, that's so far hard to regulate and very easily leak unnoticed. It's "better" than obtaining from oil, but still, it's methane.

Good point. Facade alter people perspective far quicker than waiting for systemic change, and once perspective change, systemic change will follow. Better to have acceptance plaster everywhere, even if it's hollow or propaganda-ish, than hate.

I recently watched a video about autonomous car and the dude argue the tech isn't here yet, but it will work if we build a lane just for autonomous car and put every autonomous car on that lane.

Have you considered that within city, parking is a huge problem? Maybe in american suburb the parking space is big enough to fit housing for 100 families, but in the city they don't have such luxury.

Now just like what you said about the public transport, for driving it's get in the car, facing 20 min of traffic jam, waiting for traffic light, waiting for traffic light, waiting for another traffic light, reach your destination, find a parking, saw a spot, too bad because big dumb pickup truck double park because the parking spot is too small to fit that ego-sized vehicle, looking for another parking spot, finally found one but have to make 5 min walk to the shop. Now do the return trip.

As a chinese, you're welcome to do so. It's Lunar new year, there's nothing special or specific about it. Pop a beer, play firework, or whatever. Make up your culture for celebrate the new year, that's how culture is born! There's not even a standard for it in China, different region have different way to celebrate. And each household even have their own way to celebrate! How is any of this gatekeeping make sense i don't know.

It's so sad to see a melting pot now call for separation.
