I agree with her action, but still have to note that she did work against the law and constitution by ignoring the government's decision to vote against it. In this case it's good, but what if a far right politician does the same? They can now simply refer to this case and talk about how it also had no consequences.

Witcher 3. The story is insanely good, just remember: your decisions matter (but don't look anything up).

Some people say it's hard to get into it and to be fair it is a bit complicated first but you don't have to use all mechanics, and it's well worth getting into it.

It just got an official mod creator (yes, that game from... 2015? (graphics from 2022 since there was a huge graphics update) still got a new update in 2024) and the community still is strong so it'll get even better over the next years.

Als Österreicher muss ich da widersprechen. Ob man den Zivildienst als Lebensstütze vieler Einrichtungen gut oder schlecht findet ändert nichts daran, dass das Modell funktioniert.

Wenn eine Person ein Monat lang eine Gruppe von Zivis einlernt, und dann jeder einzelne dieser Zivis acht weitere Monate tätig ist, dann ist das einfach ein Gewinn. Auf Kosten der Zivis, die dabei einen Hungerlohn bekommen.

Es ist auf jeden Fall sinnvoll genug, dass der der Zivildienst mehr oder weniger der einzige Grund ist, warum wir noch eine Wehrpflicht haben. Bei der diesbezüglichen Volksabstimmung vor ~10 Jahren haben vor allem Pflegeeinrichtungen und das Rote Kreuz ganz massiv Stimmung für das Beibehalten dieser gemacht und ganz offen angesprochen, dass unser Pflege- und Gesundheitssystem ohne Zivildiener zusammenbrechen würde.

Also ja, für die Fachkräfte und vor allem für die Einrichtungen ist es ein massiver Gewinn. Nur eben wie gesagt für alle jungen Männer nicht.

In my country everyone (literally everyone) is an organ donor by default. You can opt out instead of opting in.
