I just tried to order a pizza and it wanted my credit card expiration date, so I entered "05/28" (example date only)

it then came back with a "your card is expired" error. Uh, no it isn't? that date is still several years in the future.

did... did this site just take my date and assume I mean May of the year AD 28? That is indeed very expired! that's what I get for trying to use Jesus's card.

@foone ....so he clearly wouldnae use American Express 'cuz that's 1500 years too early; Mastercard would be problematic; you might be able to make an argument for Visa if he opens the way, as it were, but that seems more a Peter thing....

.....would Jesus use Diner's Club?

@whitequark the really cool part about queerness is getting to discard the usual rules and come up with something that works for your use-case. It's like linux that way.

Unfortunately it's also like linux the -other- way in which people who call themselves queer tend to cluster around a few big names and if you do actually make your own whole thing they'll try to tell you that you're doing it wrong and should be using emacs

i don't think i know anybody who is joyful about it

• i know people who got it and are bitter or burned out about the result
• i know people who cannot get it and are bitter or burned out about that
• i know people who got it for the sole reason of not feeling worse (rather than feeling better)

why even bother with the effort and money lol
