@arstechnica strange how copyright applies to music when it comes to AI training but attempts to apply it to anything else it seems “difficult” 🤔

Is it just that there are few enough large copyright owners that any one of them is a serious opponent to the copyright ignoring AI bros?

@arstechnica imagine a search engine that is just a search engine, that gives you good results. Now imagine the company that built that search engine got so far up its own backside that they completely ruined the product that funded every other aspect their business.

You couldn’t make this shit up if you tried.

@arstechnica I’d like to say that the company vision is poor, but it’s actually non-existent. Superchargers are what give Tesla the edge over other manufacturers, and keeping the cars fresh is what keeps people buying.

If Musk can’t understand either of these then he’s going to piss away what little advantage Tesla has left. But then he’s wasted so much time on an ugly, overly expensive and rusty truck, I don’t know why I should be surprised by this.
