@arstechnica “Musk threatens to withhold incompetent meddling resulting in boost to share prices; employs passive-aggressive tactics to induce board to fire him so he can moan about it on his failing social media platform”
@arstechnica Uhm, him paying less attention to it actually would be a positive, so it's kind of win-win to not give him the money. In fact, the less he is paid the more the rest of the world wins...
@arstechnica Musk divorcing from Tesla might allow Tesla to survive, his energy is destructive as evidenced by his historical behavior. Musk ain’t no Nikolai Tesla and usurping his name for his profit is repulsive.
@arstechnica I wonder if anyone at Tesla realizes that a large portion of society won’t buy their cars because they associate Tesla with Musk. If they do, I hope they factor that into their decision here.
@arstechnica I wonder if the diverted GPUs to Twitter was a threat. But then he’s in dereliction. This seems like an ultimatum born from a weak position, on news of other EV sales increasing while Tesla slumps. Amidst quality control and like 10 years of ”next year” auto driving. Maybe last straw for apartheid 90s internet cowboy.
