I want to know why Piers "Punchable Face" Morgan is even trying to weigh in.

I guess he's getting ready for the inevitable GB + US merger, thinking that countries should function like corporations.

AngryCommieKender ,

Easier to piss him off by using his "dead name" surname.

As Project Mayhem would say:

His Name is Donald Drumph

AngryCommieKender ,

JFK doesn't. He never appeared, at least not in any of the episodes before the latest reboot. One can only assume that JFK got assassinated in the Futurama timeline as well, so there wasn't enough of his head to put in a jar.

Lincoln was shot in the back, not the head, so I guess that's how he got there.

I wonder if McKinley is in the hall.

AngryCommieKender ,

Good FSM, I wish. It's not technically impossible, just functionally, and systemically, impossible.

AngryCommieKender ,

This one, and Kai Winn vs Delores Umbridge. I honestly want to see the second scenario more than the first, but that's just because I'm firmly convinced that Kai Winn would, "My Child," Umbridge into defeating herself.

AngryCommieKender ,

There was a game? Could you PM me? I'd like an copy honest review.

China will be offering nuclear waste disposal services once they complete the molten salt reactors that we designed in the '60s. Nuclear waste will be a non-issue, unlike the cyanide waste created in coal and natural gas plants.

AngryCommieKender ,

We literally can't get rid of nuclear power totally. It produces isotopes that are essential to modern medicine.

AngryCommieKender ,

Global leader in nuclear is also China. They are actually building the reactors that cannot meltdown, but you also can't make weapons from them, and they can run on the nuclear waste we have already produced with the crappy cheap reactors we use. We designed the reactors that China is now building 60 fucking years ago, and just shelved the design.

AngryCommieKender ,

Uranium is actually quite common on earth, hence it not being included in the rare Earth's minerals. Go get a shovel full of dirt. Anywhere on earth that shovel of dirt on average will contain something like a micro or nanogram of uranium. Shit's everywhere.

AngryCommieKender ,

≈20-30 years, outside of China. They should have the first molten salt reactors being turned on in another 8 years or so, but they started those projects in 2020

AngryCommieKender ,

They don't have to care about things like cost of the projects, NIMBYs, ecological or historical damage, or regulations

AngryCommieKender ,

What about Nodachi? Sephiroth used a Nodachi. If it's good enough for Sephiroth, or Cloud, it's good enough for me.

I seriously want Cloud's Sword Bike from Advent Children.

AngryCommieKender ,

Well you forgot the most important step to get those benefits, that would be the application to become America's 51st through 89th states. Though most of your 39 counties probably don't have the necessary population to become their own states.

AngryCommieKender ,

With the fight over the pound in the 80s and 90s when they first formed the EU, I would be very surprised if the EU didn't force the UK to adopt the Euro to rejoin

AngryCommieKender ,

They don't want to make it easy to get back in, so that other countries aren't tempted to leave in the first place. They shouldn't reward temper tantrums.

AngryCommieKender , (Bearbeitet )

Could have fooled me with the Tories in power for so long trying to dismantle the NHS and all the other few benefits that you guys have over The US.

Like you guys haven't given Labor actual power since Thatcher and Reagan. We at least gave the Democrats a supermajority, kinda, for a total of 6 months across 3 different administrations.

Not great, and we seem to have shown the rest of you how to turn into plutocracies.

AngryCommieKender ,

The job of a cop is a bastard job. When she is working voluntarily as a cop, she is supporting a bastardized system and is therefore a bastard.

AngryCommieKender ,

They're part of the US now. We just got ≈ 20 more states.

AngryCommieKender ,

Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Basically the federal border control cops that for some damn reason have jurisdiction anywhere within 250 miles of the border.

AngryCommieKender ,

And that's just the 40% that admitted it. US cops are trained liars. How many decided not to admit it?

GM killed off SAAB for no good reason. We could have had Koenigsegg as the owner of SAAB.....

AngryCommieKender ,

You missed the biggest flaw in the "money creation = inflation" argument. That would be Japan. They've been printing money full tilt for the last couple decades, and are just barely staving off deflation

AngryCommieKender ,

The earlier one can't be all terrible. They got Tim Curry to play Pennywise

AngryCommieKender ,

The latest German word that I particularly appreciate is backpfeifengesicht.

Google translates it to: a face in need of a fist.

AngryCommieKender ,

That looks like a vegan bar/burger joint/ pizza place in San Diego

AngryCommieKender , (Bearbeitet )

Yeah, I've never seen it, and don't want to. I'm just a fan of Tim Curry. I still maintain his best role was in C&C

Macron says Kyiv should be allowed to ‘neutralise’ Russian military bases, prompting Putin warning ( www.france24.com ) Englisch

President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday that there would be “serious consequences” if Western countries allowed Ukraine to use their weapons to strike targets in Russia, as sought by Kyiv.

AngryCommieKender ,

Show Russia and China that we aren't scared of their total of a dozen nukes. I say this as someone that will get nuked if either country turns their "arsenal" against the US

AngryCommieKender ,

Look at Mr moneybags over here putting bacon and onions in his pasta and cheese

AngryCommieKender ,

Can confirm. Goonswarm still needs Mumble because we have thousands of players that need to listen to the weekly fireside.

AngryCommieKender ,

The absolute largest group of players in any game stuck with Mumble. That would be The Goonswarm Federation in EvE Online. We have just over 25,000 people, and well over 100,000 characters in the Alliance. In fact, AFAIK, all of the major alliances have to use Mumble because it allows more than 100 people in a room

AngryCommieKender ,

Am I the only one around here that maxes out their RAM to the max that the board will take? Sure 128 Gig is overkill now, but the 32 Gig I installed in my last laptop was supposed to be overkill just 3 years ago. I did manage to use my previous laptop for a whole 12 years with only 16 Gig.

Rubenberg 1989, p. 358: "The labeling of individuals who disagree with the lobby's positions as "anti-Semitic" is a common practice among Israel's advocates. For example, when Senator Charles Mathias [R., Maryland] voted in favor of the AWACs sale to Saudi Arabia, a Jewish newspaper in New York commented: "Mr. Mathias values the importance of oil over the well-being of Jews and the State of Israel. The Jewish people cannot be fooled by such a person, no matter what he said, because his act proved who he was." Former Congressman Paul "Pete" McCloskey [R., California] also has had the charge of anti-Semitism leveled at him: "When I ran for reelection in 1980, I was asked a question about peace in the Middle East, and I said if we were going to have peace in the Middle East we members of Congress were going to have to stand up to our Jewish constituents and respectfully disagree with them on Israel. Well, the next day the Anti-Defamation League of the B'nai B'rith accused me of fomenting anti-Semitism, saying that my remarks were patently anti-Semitic." Indeed, it may be that the weapon of greatest power possessed by the pro-Israeli lobby is its accusation of anti-Semitism. George Ball comments: "They've got one great thing going for them. Most people are terribly concerned not to be accused of being anti-Semitic, and the lobby so often equates criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism. They keep pounding away at that theme, and people are deterred from speaking out." In Ball's view, many Americans feel a "sense of guilt" over the Holocaust, and the result of their guilt is that the fear of being called anti-Semitic is "much more effective in silencing candidates and public officials than threats about campaign money or votes.""

Is that a real error message in Linux?

AngryCommieKender ,

Don't even need a command. I've seen people brick their windows install messing around with registry keys. Most of my coworkers and friends think I'm some sort of wizard because I follow the instructions to the letter if I have any reason to run regedit.

AngryCommieKender ,

The how is that they are a user that has never had to troubleshoot their own machine. At least that's what I am getting from reading all their replies. They seem to honestly believe there is no use case for cmd in windows.

feel free to pronounce the word "user" as the slur intended

AngryCommieKender ,

If that works, I'm switching to linux

AngryCommieKender ,

They stopped caring about the user experienc when they wrote QDOS
