Ok but in what way is Russia's sovereignty threatened by Ukraine wanting to and willingly democratically wishing to join NATO/EU?
That's the thing, NATO wasn't like conquering Ukraine etc., they wanted to join and they wanted to join the EU too, and I don't see what any of this has to do with Russia really.
