People that break the constitution in favor of money don't really deserve to be given a judgment based on our constitution. They broke not only that, but endangered the existence of said constitution.
We don't kill murderers, yes, they kill at worst a handful of people. We do kill terrorists when they have weapons on hand to kill civilians. High treason is just terrorism with informations.
Let's be real, you would be against life without parol in that case as well. I would be ok with that, i just don't see how its economically viable. People trying to destroy our state shouldn't get a life financed by our state. And the current laws are obviously not punishing enough.
Why to spread it in Germany then? It's the first time I hear about that living in russia, and I'm a passionate collector of crazy conspiralogical theories, thanks to X-Files for that hobby. That exaggeration doesn't paint you in a better light too.
Sorry but trying to prosecute Russian hackers seems like a total waste of time. It's extremely hard to prove who hacked and Russia doesn't give a shit about the ICC. On top of that I would think there is much more dramatic case to prosecute than that.
While most people are understandably pumped about the accession talks withs Ukraine, I think I can speak for the majority of Romanians when I say that this is an amazing step towards safety and security for Moldova. Our little brother deserves more than just being used as a political battleground by Russia.
this is an amazing step towards safety and security for Moldova.
Looking at how the EU dealt with Cyprus: Nothing will change. All of Cyprus is EU member, yet the EU happily accepts Turkish occupation in the northern half.
I think this is a little different as (Greek) Cyprus joined after the island had already been divided, the conflict already frozen. Versus if an EU member is attacked anew, the collective defence article would be triggered. Still, it’s unfortunate that Cyprus still remains divided.
I hope you guys realise this "maximum harm" involves trolling.
Just ask yourself, what would a Russian troll look like, in real life.
For instance a person going by archcomrade on midwest.social is definitely either an actual troll or a brainwashed tankie, but going by his actions and comments, I think the former.
Posts only about how one shouldn't vote for Democrats in the US elections, never says anything bad about Putler or Trump, and keeps questioning the situation in the Ukraine, referring to "the West" in general, like a russian would.
And me just noting this led to insane mass reporting of my comments.
Russia disseminating misinformation and far-right propaganda in order to destabilise a country so they can rig the political climate in their favour is basically their bread and butter at this point.
The fact that people all around the world keep falling for this blatantly obvious strategy is why they keep doing it - it's easier to have your enemy tear itself apart than it is to fight head on (as they're currently finding out with Ukraine)
That analogy isn’t the same, at all. The Chinese aircraft didn’t just check them out, they deliberately flew dangerous as an intimidation tactic. The Dutch airforce doesn’t do this to anyone in the North Sea, even Russian bobmers. They just intercept, follow and tell them to leave.
The Dutch aircraft and boats weren’t acting suspiciously or hostile at all. They were carrying out UN sanctioned activities. China is a permanent member of the UN Security Council they could have vetoed these activities if they didn’t agree with them.
China allowed this operation, then they the behaved deliberately dangerously as an intimidation tactic. China wants to spread propaganda that this is okay and normal behaviour, it isn’t. They want to normalise their behaviour so they can bully their neighbours easier than before. Similar tactics have lead to fishermen dieing due to Chinas aggressive posturing.
It is the East China Sea not the East sea of China, however much the PRC wants it to be so. It includes territorial waters of South Korea, North Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and China, as well as a whole bunch of freely navigable international waters.
By this logic, the Indian Ocean would belong to India, and the Atlantic to Greece since they got to name it first.
that's normal, if they didn't get their money out of a sanctioned hostile country, this i what happens. those banks knew that. some maybe couldn't get their money out, others maybe took the risk gambling they can continue their projects after/during the war. the latter deserve a slap on the wrist.
