I wish anyone in our milieu had that level of influence. Many Kudos on their work, but we would be remiss without giving a nod to the soulless youtubers and tiktokers with influence who made this a thing in everyone's eyes.
The Adlai Stevenson quote applies:
Woman At A Rally: Governor, every thinking person will be voting for you.
Stevenson: Madam, that's not enough. I need a majority.
A personal foible of mine. Lots of people who want to be a name in our milieu get way to high on their own petard. Attempts at humor in that direction go over my head.
I like the idea you were uplifting your friend. And it seems they usually do things for the right reason.
Both of those are rare. It'd be nice if we had more.
