I know nothing about how flatpak works other than that it's containerized. But this meme tells me it's the OS's responsibility to create the flatpak, and not the developer's? Is that right?
The way the parties nominate candidates for president is an absolute mess, but the nominations aren't official until the parties hold a closed convention with delegates who vote for candidates to be the nominee. Back in the day these delegates used to actually be the people who decided who got nominated. These days they're more like a ceremonial role, with a lot of them (I think) being required to vote in line with the way people voted in their state's primary.
Anyway, I'd have to look it up to be 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure enough delegates have some kind of autonomy that it's possible they could nominate someone other than Biden. Who they would end up agreeing on....? Heck if I know.
You might also have discalcula, which is a real but somewhat uncommon thing where you're absolutely shit at math. I have no idea how to get tested for it though.

Not that I actually consider the Bible to be an authoritative source on morality (see: slavery), but are those faithful to the original texts? I only ask because it's my understanding that sexuality wasn't viewed as a straight-gay spectrum back then, but instead as a dominate-submissive spectrum. Like, if they were to actually have a problem with same sex acts, it was more to do with messing with the social order than any inherit sexuality problems.

Nah, very little of congestion is trucks. You can even see that in this picture. Plus, you're not trying to make driving easier, that will just cause more people to drive (one more lane bro). You make everything else easier and people choose to walk/bike/bus and the roads clear up because there's fewer people choosing to drive.

I do with English would switch to phonetic spelling, including the eventi of the speaker, but we're never going to switch. At least the standardized spelling does have a very minor advantage in terms of disambiguation with homophones. But then we had to go and mess up read/read and lead/lead.
It really depends who you're talking to. That's the big problem with political buzz words. If Jordan Peterson called me a leftist it basically means that I don't think dominating others is good. If someone on lemmy.ml called me a leftist, they're probably assuming I agree with a bunch of theory I've never even heard of.

The problem is that if your political world view requires actual study in order to understand and promote, you're never going to get anywhere when it comes to affecting real change. Most humans don't give a shit. You have to give them something simple and easy to make the core of their political identity. In our society capitalism has a head start because it's baked into the school system, but you don't get the luxury of forcing everyone to learn how you economic system works.
Sure, but the point is that you don't know how your audience is going to interpret the word leftist when you use it on the internet. Better to use words that have clear meaning or to clarify what you mean when using words that have multiple understandings.
Do you control the public education system? Because until you do, you have to work with the educational background of the population you're given, not the one you want.
