@arstechnica Does #Starlink come with a medical plan and remediation for damage to property when parts of these inevitably crash into peoples' homes? What happens when "trunk" pieces smash into an apartment block? The entire system should be grounded. It threatens life, property, and our views of space. Furthermore, the owner capriciously turns it off on #Ukraine to benefit #Russia. Why does the owner have #DOD contracts? Why? Jfc, people!

@arstechnica Overpriced. Still niche. Not for the masses who need transportation. This is something for the upper middle class to give to their HS graduates*.

*Based on comments by the owner of a car stereo company in Los Angeles. He claimed most of his work came from teenagers whose parents gave them a Lexus or other luxury car.

@SwiftOnSecurity Instead of the cluster controller we needed, management at a government contractor bought themselves Macs, so...
