TIL that there's been a trend towards "4x4" in Drum'n'Bass music lately. Which, uh, kinda defeats the purpose of DnB?

I dunno about you, but this just sounds to me like Happy Hardcore with a softer kick.

I mean, I'm not complaining, artists can make whatever they want, but it's funny to me that this song is on the channel "UKF Drum & Bass".

@notjustbikes I had a similar initial response, but hearing it in the context of a set changed my feeling on it. Sub Focus and Dimension's at Printworks showcases it well, I think.
