What I mean is, makingg a UI more intuitive does not necessarily make it more... Gnome-ey? It can still be effective, customizable, etc.

They are actually built like that, but they have a built-in projector that makes them appear flat to an outside observer. When they crash the projector usually breaks, which is why they then look bent.

Granted, the rolling release aspect means inevitably you’re gonna get a borked update that you have to revert, so that’s a stumbling point for a complete newbie. It’s not like that doesn’t sometimes happen on other distros though - or even Windows.

People post things like this constantly and I feel like I'm living on a different planet. I don't think I've ever heard of a Windows install needing to be reverted through no fault of the user.

Discord makes for a bad forum because it's not a forum! Stop using it as one! It's good for small groups that need realtime communication-- friend groups, project groups, even classes of students. If you're using it as a public forum you're using the wrong tool!
