Don't you just love game development? Somehow, some way, in implementing one enemy, I completely fucked up how one of the bosses works

Found the bug, at least.

This is in the function that chooses sprites for enemies. That's supposed to read "|| subType == ADANI_C)"

As written, that second condition always evaluates as true, meaning this now acts as a default case, ignoring everything else that comes after it -- including Rykar.

[EDIT: image description, since I forgot to add it: A line of C++ code that reads, "else if (subType is equal to ADANI_B, or else ADANI_C)"]

I make this mistake a lot, but I always catch it the instant I type it. Not this time, apparently 👀

Thing is, if you read it as if it's English, it feels natural: "if the subType is Adani_B or Adani_C..."

Hey y'all! I'm looking for a pixel artist to help out on my game!

"Enigma Heart" is a retro-styled side-scrolling action RPG. There are no palette restrictions, although I would like to keep the visual style in roughly the SNES era. Tile size is 16x16; most characters are 1 tile x 2 tiles (16x32).

Some of the graphics have already been done by me and another artist, so a style similar to ours/ability to match it, is a must. Screenshots of the game (as it currently stands) are attached to this post.

Needed are graphics of the player character, some NPCs, monsters, and dungeon and town backdrops/tilesets.

Please reply to this post, or if you're more comfortable with a private mention, that's fine too.

I think I'm gonna remove support for slopes in Enigma Heart. They're not necessary for a Zelda II-style game, and they only serve to complicate the collision detection for Zalia doing certain maneuvers, like downstab

I'll leave the code in there, just comment out any calls to it
