@foone If you allow me to go slightly off topic, but still stay in 80's consumer electronics design, I have to say that this radio owned by my parents had one of the coolest designs I've ever seen, only matched by its technical features. It had a multi-band receiver that I haven't seen in any other product (in my country), and also a condenser microphone superior to any other I've ever seen.

@foone Channel 2 through 13 buttons, never seen that before.

Sony CD changers have buttons 1 through 10, and a >10 button. You want track 12, enter >10 1 2.

They even made some with NVRAM so there is a "never play this ****ing track again" button, and it remembers that forever.
