@foone this looks remarkably like a keyboard back in the late 90s. It's a super cheap keyboard loaded with "Alps Monterey" switches. It also has a big-ass enter key.
I still have it in storage.
@foone This suddenly gives me an idea of a keyboard with a "KILL" key that, on Linux, sends SIGTERM to the focused application, or SIGKILL if augmented with Shift.
@foone I can sympathize. I got a new keycap set about a month ago. Looked beautiful. I absolutely could NOT type with it, presumably because the corners were too rounded. I didn't want to, but ended up going back to the keyboard's stock set after trying to make it work for a few weeks.
(Man it’s hard to find any information on this that isn’t from my ~30 year old memories of being friends with the inventor’s son when we were kids in Berkeley.)
