@arstechnica At least no one will miss this. Seriously, who wants to tediously chat with a business inside of maps. Just give me the darn phone number and get out of the way. Oh, and while you're at it Google, get rid of Yelp integration. I don't want Yelp's opinion of an auto body shop or some such no sense. 🙄😀
@arstechnica The size of the cohort of people looking to give up or replace their smartphone is probably essentially zero. Putting that aside, hasn't the smart watch and Alexa shown that at the very least they're handy for setting timers, a feature that could be coded in an afternoon? Not even shipping with that made me laugh out loud. There's no chance of getting $750m for this wreckage. Just open source it for hackers to play with.
