I wanna see a 3d printer designed by woz.
No limit switches, it just bangs the print head against the casing on boot up like an apple II drive

@foone Prusa does this for ages now, instead of limit switches it uses the current sensing it already has for collision detection instead of limit switches.

Works a charm and is super precise

So its not WOZ/Commodore style head banging, but very close to.

Worst idea: a smart TV with all the annoying online features and built-in unblockable advertising, but it's a CRT
