It's simply not as effective psychoactively due to its chemical structure. This is why it can be sold legally, due to the chemical structure differing from Delta-9 THC. As a long time cannabis user, delta 8 does absolutely nothing for me.

You can see that it says cannabinoid on the packaging, maybe if you have super low tolerance or are not and experienced smoker you might get a slight buzz, nothing compared to the real thing. Trust me they have the delta 9 symbol with the thcp and everything, you may as well reference your own pictures. Seeing as I don't buy them and stick to the actual thing I don't have any of the products readily available to me.
That's fair, although that process happening as you smoke it once again doesn't compare for me. I'm not here to argue at all, just stating what I know about this stuff. I'll catch my buzz from my own, if you catch a buzz from THCA then go crazy. I just don't.
