It's kinda depressing how tumblr is imploding now and I'm seeing half my follow list go "man, after seeing both twitter and tumblr do this, it's really showing how it's a bad idea for a social media network to be run by a company who can make arbitrary changes without user consent.

tbh the only reason i'm still even on bsky and tumblr, hell even check on twitter via nitter, is because all the artists that i like are on those platforms, only reason i came back to fedi was because i wanted to try and connect myself with developers more and to see if more artists that i may like set up shop here (admittedly there were more artists here than before, and i like their styles so that's good)
