We are seeing an issue in Chrome/Edge browsers where WebRTC audio is silently dropping during a Group Policy refresh. This has been ongoing but recently ramped up as a big policy deployment has rolled out. If anyone has seen this or has narrowed it down let me know.

@SwiftOnSecurity out of curiosity, do the affected computers have microphones? We dealt with an issue recently where all ChromeOS computers w/o microphones would stop all audio in Zoom after a few seconds. The solution was to get $3 USB microphones… 🤪

@SwiftOnSecurity does one of the policies invoke WebRTC?

@SwiftOnSecurity Did it start with M124? Seems like audio code changes were made that caused breakage for some Mac users with particular audio devices (comments widen scope of issue). But that seems related to the update, not group policy updates. https://issues.chromium.org/issues/335325895

@SwiftOnSecurity dropping as in intermittent? Or as in completely gone after the change?
