Someone on tumblr asked why 3.5" floppy disks seem so much more friendly (or "pleasant and edible" to use their terminology) than 5.25" floppy disks, so I wrote about it:

@foone Last time I touched 3.5" floppy is probably 25 years ago. I still occasionally remember the satisfying feel and texture of it, the satisfaction of pushing that thing into floppy drive (that "thunk" sound + physical sensation) and the soothing first sounds of read head starting its job. And the smell when you open a box of floppies. :ablobcatheart:

At least some well written English (by that I mean a non-native speaker can understand it)
