@arstechnica I recall reading some time ago that Tesla and SpaceX managed to do well despite theirCEO was because the companies actual operations were mostly kept out of Elon's daily control. Looks like Elon's not having any of that anymore!
@arstechnica Musk unmasked himself as being an unhinged fascist, got called out, and is taking it out on the people who actually did the work needed to build up his companies. Which is predictable for any fascist in a position of power.
@arstechnica I'm really bummed how quickly this is going south. Honestly the only thing that seemed to be saving the US charger network was Tesla's superchargers. And given how US electric cars were going down the path of using the Tesla charger, this is not going to go well.
I'm worried this will set back EV adoption in the US even longer.
@arstechnica behold, the big genius has had another idea. The market is slow to figure out that they've bet on a hyped loser, but it'll figure it out eventually. "Reduce headcount" is a popular move among the Wall Street set, but also indicates short-sighted desperation. Nothing left to do but cut costs and ride the corpse down slowly.
@arstechnica Maybe Mr Musk will realize tha insulting the "Coastal Elites" who buy the majority of your vehicles, and calling them evil, may not be the best marketing strategy.
I was going to say this will hurt their stock price, but sadly it likely won't. The only people investing are the 'true believers' and those who think firing employees helps businesses.
@arstechnica Muskrat is xittering Tesla now? I see because it worked so great for his social media toy. What next Yaccarino taking over cars too?
He's a giant mess. Governments have got to stop doing business with his companies.
