My personal conspiracy on this is there is no way so many firms are actually shipping updates so fast. They release updates to force the apps to restart fresh because they’re buggy crap.

@SwiftOnSecurity I think reality is worse, App stores reward frequently updated apps in their ranking. So, you write a bad app and cause terabytes of global traffic (which is especially awesome in developing countries, where bandwidth could be used for more, you know, useful things) in updates, and you do update every week, because you don't want google's ranking to think your app, which loads 90% of content at runtime and displays it in an internal browser widget, anyways, has become stale.

@derpostillon und das, obwohl sich Gelsenkirchen so gut vorbereitet hat! Bis vor Kurzem hatten die mit der Emscher auch eine wahre Sehenswürdigkeit: der letzte große offene Kanalisationskanal Deutschlands. Den haben Sie aus Angst, ein Hooligan könnte ihn kaputtmachen, schon überdeckelt, obwohl er das Ambiente der direkt an ihm stattgefundenen Bundesgartenschau 1997 so stark mitgeprägt hat.
