One of the biggest security expertise redpills is this is unironically a good idea and the time spent making fun of it was ill-advised for most users whose physical security threat is not a factor in comparison.

@SwiftOnSecurity I keep a list of logins with references to a set of base passwords I use, with per-login variations noted, but the passwords themselves only exist in my brain. credential leaks will still force me to change a bunch of passwords, but someone obtaining the list wouldn’t expose them.
