@arstechnica I can't imagine why people might be buying fewer Teslas and instead prefer companies that don't have obnoxious, toxic, openly facist CEOs!
@arstechnica couldnt happen to a nicer piece of shit, er, ah guy.
And couldn't happen to a nice trash company, er ah, currently way overvalued eventual acquisition target ...
@arstechnica the lease of our ID.3 is nearing it's end. For the next car we need a tow hook and some towing capacity. Not much, but some timber/lumber for renovations and such.
@arstechnica This questions the idea that Elon Musk is a once-in-a-generation genius. As this goes against my biases, I dismiss it out of hand, and assert that Teslas are selling really well AND are being paid for in dogecoin BECAUSE number goes up is a good idea WHICH DOES NOT look anything like a meaningless inflationary bubble.
@arstechnica "Ford's EV sales for the first five months of this year were up 87.7 percent...High double-digit sales growth (in Q1 2024) has also been occurring at Hyundai and Kia (up 56.1 percent), BMW (up 57.8 percent), Rivian (up 58.8 percent), Mercedes (up 66.9 percent), and Toyota (up 85.9 percent)."
@arstechnica Selling shitty cars and truck like things and loose market share and value should be elementary to anyone except a genius like Musk. Tesla is destined to be the next Twitter.
