@foone do you enter the value into a buffer first and press scan to send the key code, or do you press scan and enter the value and have the code sent immediately over the wire as you build the binary character?
@foone oh so this isn't part of the "cursed keyboards" line, it's the "usable but at what cost" line. Like one of those x-men mutants that can turn dark chocolate into white chocolate which seems useless until the right writer makes them their blorbo and then they end the galaxy.
HOPEFULLY FINAL EDITION: I've got login/fill split, and I added an ENHANCE button. originally it was going to say "INV. COLOR" but my algorithm is slightly more complicated, thus... "enhance"
@foone add 1,2, 64 and 128 keys and make them toggleable so you can enter any 8bit number.
Then add buttons so send the keystrokes for that as hex or the ascii character.
Then you can use it to enter anything you want
