@mandarvaze The setting has existed for longer than the documentation, which was updated in the last few weeks if I remember correctly 😌 I don’t mind answering questions about Zed!
@fasterthanlime I've tried switching to it two or three times now, and each time I make it a week before switching back to VSCode. I think the git integration just isn't there yet — I didn't realise how much I use diffs to see what I've actually been doing all day...
But there's something about it that makes me keep on wanting to try it out, so there's clearly something cool in there...
@argv_minus_one@fasterthanlime at least it's open source with both the app itself and the infrastructure for the collab stuff available to build and run yourself! I've been test driving it on linux by compiling from source and it's pretty good

It wasn't FOSS initially, but that changed some months ago. They even kept the commit history going back to 2021, instead of the usual working-prototype-in-the-first-commit approach.
