Bad idea: since there's a mechanical limit to how much you can cool down a CPU, design a motherboard with a rotary barrel.

While one CPU is used, the other five can be cooling down!

@foone I know that there's at least one CPU which needs to be idled for a minimum time to limit internal heat stress.

You can have them and cycle them for uninterrupted work.

I've been trying to google/amazon this and having basically no results, so I'm asking here in case anyone knows:

I need graph paper. Specifically I need LARGE graph paper. Like, not an A4 sheet, I need A1-A0 (24/33" or 33x46").
4x4 per inch, or 5x5 per inch grid spaces. I basically need a graph paper with a TON of squares, and I'm not finding it.

@foone If you need I can create and mail a PDF template for you.

I wonder how hard it is to make a fake USB printer.
Like, a printer that takes any printout and goes "yep, that printed just fine" but nothing ever comes out anywhere

@foone Do you want the hardware, or will a soft solution work?

@foone Two solutions:

  1. Install a soft printer like boomaga or similar which can print to files.

  2. Get a Raspberry Pi, set up CUPS, add a PDF printing soft-printer on it, and make it discoverable on network (or share it)

A printer which instantly prints, plus it's network enabled! A 90s nerd dream comes true.

Bad idea: a CPU that only executes cryptographically signed memory pages.

@foone Can you please stop giving Microsoft and Trusted Computing Group ideas?

Thank you for your cooperation.
