It's the early signs like this that needs the rest of the community to come out against the right hard and relentlessly. Just name and shame until they go away. Allowing them to keep spouting bullshit just gets you a slow roll into fascism. I hope they can accomplish it.
Electronic attack is an act of war. Should stick glonass jammers in Ukraine and the Russian border and blanket them. Then turn about and broadcast all the anti Russian 80s movies directly into their cities.
Yep. Military moving equipment around, even just packing up, costs money. There's a cost+ contract somewhere that was just waiting for funds before anyone was even allowed to look at the armaments.
So the planes aren't searching for migrants. They are just going for a nice Mediterranean sight-seeing trip! But if they see boats in distress, it's their duty to report them! And if the airport denies their landing because they are doing their due diligence, well I guess they didn't plan to have to fly an extra hour away so now they don't have the fuel to make it there. Time for an emergency landing which pretty much every airport respects.
Bavaria's government said in a statement that it wants to "limit the public consumption of cannabis despite the federal government's dangerous legalization law.
"A family festival like the [Oktoberfest] and cannabis consumption don't go together," he said.
Fucking lol. At a festival where people routinely get sick drunk and fall out everywhere is concerned about being family friendly? Sounds more like they're jealous people can get inebriated without drinking alcohol.
That's camping with all the shitty parts and a really nice cot.
Wind, rain, dust, falling shit, bugs, animals, etc. You can get a similar atmosphere by having a tent and opening the vent flaps. Or like, sleeping under a tarp to mitigate rain if you really want that outdoorsy feel. I knew a guy who slept in a hammock on nice nights but I fear the skeeters.
So yeah. Housing the homeless is an effective solution. There are more empty homes than homeless in the US at least. And you can subsidize or build new places for this purpose, especially if they are transitory for the majority. And it'll still be cheaper than dealing with all the knock-on effects of homelessness: litter, crime, health issues, etc.
