If you're going to have one service, the last one to get is Netflix. Hulu and Disney are $20 ad-free in a package right now. That's probably the best value out there.
HDR is more important than high frame rates in many games, assuming you have a good monitor that supports it. Seriously, it's amazing and extremely underrated.
So it feels like these are all extra layers. I haven't used Wine in years, but it was very frustrating the last time I tried it.
By comparison (don't crucify the messenger), Windows supports it by default. This is one of the many reasons why I still game on Windows. In general, games just work. You click install and then play and you're up and running in just a few minutes.
I accidentally got one because I needed a good one for creative work. When I turned this on... Holy shit guys, it's insane.
I have an HDR TV that is garbage, too. But my monitor using HDR makes games look absolutely beautiful. This was 5 years ago, too... I bet they get so much better now.
I mean, I don't have to say there are more than 50 five, right? We all know this is hyperbole?
I just typed it into Amazon and the cheapest one is $290. It doesn't have full array dimming, but neither does the one use. The one I use looks incredible compared to non-hdr.
I actually don't like ms office any longer. I used to use Open Office, and I kind of miss it. But I see your point, businesses still use this nonsense.
I laughed. This is the perfect response. Look at the triggered people!
Linux evangelists, man... They're insufferable. I love Linux, but it's not the only OS worth having in 2024. Like, I actually hate Apple but I still have a computer that boots it in my place. It's okay to have lots of options!

So my company pays for Adobe, and I fucking hate it. I have to re-sign in multiple times a day because I own and use daily two personal computers, and my work computer.
They only allow two at a time, so it's just a constant hassle of entering authentication numbers.
People who steal this software literally have a better experience than I do.
It's to counter the racism, biggotry, and xenophobia present in pockets of American culture.
These shitty types of people avoid or hide within large cities - everyone is typically fine in these places. But small towns can sometimes have a serious problem with this if they are too "red" (Conservative).
In short, pockets of America are very tribal. People bond over similarities, and their shared disapproval of anything different, or out of the ordinary.
I always figure it out, but Linux is not user friendly. The last issue I had was trying to get my vpn to work. It took me a few minutes to realize my vpn provider doesn't support a gui on there.
This is the issue with Linux. It needs better support and adaptation. If it got that focus from third parties, I'd gladly make it my daily driver.
Here's to hoping the attempts from companies like steam are only the beginning of a new thriving trend!
You should be ashamed of yourself. Many wonderful people live in this country. We have so much to do - and yes, we are plagued by many horrors - but we persevere.
