@SwiftOnSecurity @GossiTheDog ah it seems you’ve confused “safety recall” with “recall safety”. Honest mistake anyone could make.

@SwiftOnSecurity at one point more than half of the processors on the planet were embedded in automobiles and running what was then called Windows CE. The explosion of mobile devices and other consumer electronics products has changed the percentage but it is still common to find Windows Automotive embedded in cars running things like engine management.

@SwiftOnSecurity I assume to “belt” someone does not have the same meaning in yankidoodleland as it does in Australia or is that some aggressive marketing from Nissan?

ground024 ,

@SwiftOnSecurity Is there any reason someone might see the image and make the statement: "I didn't know my car ran Windows"?
Llava: This is a comment suggesting a interpretation of the image. While the image features a sign from Nissan, it does not contain any text related to Windows. The image tells owners about a recall. The statement is not based on the content of the image. rather the idea that people might associate Nissan with software, and make a connection to Windows.

@SwiftOnSecurity Mine suggests that when it rains, I should close all the windows, and boot.
