@notjustbikes a new subway entrance to Museum Station in Toronto included a bike channel next to the stairs.

Looks like a good step (or ramp) in the right direction.

@soviut wow, I can't believe they would build something new with that awful design.

They don't build them like that anymore in the Netherlands because it's unergonomic and potentially dangerous to have it off to the side like that.

This is how they're designed here, with the groove in the middle of the stairs.

@notjustbikes I was going to say "the design doesn't seem as nice as the one I saw in your video" but my guess is space; that entrance width is the same size as most TTC street level entrances. Given the width, a trough in the middle might be considered a tripping/slipping hazard.

Still, it signals progress. Once people start getting used to this design, it's pretty easy to upgrade.
